The answer is just one!That’s partly because of the rapid growth of China over recent years and partly because the big expansion in the world’s casino these days is online. Square feet: 161,000
The Borgata is the third largest casino in the U.S. Its name means little village in Italian, buit this aint small. In fact, it’s the largest resort by a long stretch in New Jersey’s home of gambling, Atlantic City.
9. Casino Lisboa, Lisbon, Portugal
Square feet: 165,000
Just a little bigger than the Borgata, the Lisboa is in Lisbon’s famous ‘Park Of The Nations’ and it’s the biggest casino in Europe. It opened in 2006, is owned by Estoril-Sol, which is in turn partly owned by well-known Hong Kong-based gambling mogul, Stanley Ho.

The MGM Grand is the biggest casino in Las Vegas. It’s also the biggest hotel resort complex in the USA. But when it opened 20 years ago, it was the world’s largest casino hotel. Now it’s 8th; that’s how quickly things have changed.
