Hydroelectricity is the most cheapest and easily generated form of electricity, thus it is primarily used for electricity generation. Many countries have started constructing Dams to save the wasted water and to get some thing useful from this flowing water. Three Gorges Dam has a storage capacity of 39,300,300 cubic meter and is indeed one of the largest dam ever built on this planet.
