Bollywood is an industry that produces the most number of movies in a year. Every year, there are surprises. Usually it is the bigger names attached to the movies like the Khans that make the movie a success but this was not the case this time. 2011 belonged to the new generation of Bollywood. Some movies were successful commercially by grossing huge amounts in profits while some were not commercially successful but appreciated by the critics and the audiences. When so many movies are released in a year and in an industry with so much competition, it is never easy to form a top ten list of the best Bollywood movies of 2011. This is because this time round there were many great movies that really stood up both commercially and critically.

Ali Zafar’s performance as well as Katrina’s acting were well appreciated by the audiences.

The movie was very well received by both the audiences and the critics. The movie was also commercially successful and was declared a super-hit.

It earned Rs.241.5 Crores, which made it the  second-highest grossing Bollywood film of all time.

It is directed by Zoya Akhtar. It was both commercially and critically successful and swept through all the major awards in Bollywood in 2011.
